Job Description

In this position of Oracle Commerce Architect, you will provide Oracle Commerce (ATG) architecture, design, implementation and integration expertise for omnichannel ecommerce solutions for various Litmus7 customers. The Architect will serve as a key member of the Litmus7 Elite team to define and drive technical strategy and architectural direction across the Oracle Commerce platform. They will be responsible for translating business requirements and objectives into detail functional requirements and robust technology architecture to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of Oracle Commerce based omnichannel commerce solutions.


  • 8+ years of relevant work experience with a focus on architecture, design, and development of omnichannel eCommerce and J2EE applications, preferably within a retail/ecommerce environment
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with various ATG modules (Commerce, BCC, CSC, CA, Search, etc.)
  • 5+ years of Java/J2EE development experience with hands on ATG and Endeca experience
  • 3+ years of experience developing Endeca driven functionality for large consumer facing websites
  • 3+ years of experience leading an agile development team in a mixed methodology environment
  • Skilled knowledge of integrating ATG platform and other 3rd services and enterprise systems (OMS, Payment Gateways, Tax Services, Ratings & Reviews services, Web Analytics solutions etc.)
  • Expert level understanding of web development technologies (JSP, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, AJAX & Tag libraries, AngularJS, ReactJS, etc.)
  • Expert level knowledge in implementing Responsive Design Frontends and API based applications
  • Expert knowledge of system architecture, system sizing and/or J2EE components tuning
  • Expert knowledge of Java thread and memory dumps
  • Expert level knowledge in Performance/Scalability Engineering, Security aspects and Deployment Strategies of Oracle Commerce applications
  • Expert knowledge of XML/XSL/XSD
  • Expert knowledge of Page Builder Extensions
  • Expert understanding of continuous integration concepts, build processes and tools (ANT, Maven, Jenkins, automated builds, automated unit tests and continuous builds)
  • Intermediate understanding of source code control processes, code branching / merging strategies & source code control tools (Subversion, GIT, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable of A/B multi-variant testing tools
  • Experience working in a consultative environment with a global team of diverse background
